This project reimagines a light-filled, open-plan living space designed for both everyday family life and relaxed entertaining. The layout carefully balances clearly defined zones for living, dining, and cooking, while maintaining strong visual connections throughout the space. A calm, cohesive colour palette anchors the design, with Farrow & Ball Skimming Stone used on the panelled walls to bring warmth and softness, contrasted with the depth and richness of Hague Blue to add character and architectural interest.

Natural textures play a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere. Pinch-pleat linen curtains soften the glazing and enhance the sense of height, while a greige linen sofa provides a neutral, timeless foundation for the living area. In the kitchen zone, classic shaker cabinetry sits beneath deep blue metro tiles, offering a subtle nod to traditional detailing within an otherwise contemporary setting. Thoughtfully layered lighting — enhances the textures and finishes, ensuring the space feels welcoming and functional throughout the day.
