We used paint, rugs, and key pieces of furniture in this design to zone the open plan living space. It created a cosy living environment with the benefit of bright duel aspect lighting. The room itself was quite small and required clever planning to ensure that it performed as a kitchen, dining room, and lounge all in one space.
